Abstract

The author of the article considers the organisational, administrative (managerial), and legal measures of ensuring the safety of commercial secrets’ analyses the conditions of securing the confidentiality of commercial information, the methodology of selection of data constituting a commercial secret, and measures of information protection. The author evaluates the role of administrative information in the competitive activity and authorization-based information access systems. The author also describes the legal nature and types of confidentiality agreements, their content, measures protecting commercial secrets from disclosure, among which the main are liability measures applied to law-breakers and also basic questions on protection of commercial secrets after termination of labour relationship with employees.
